Actress Eva Mendes wanted to be a nun, but changed her mind when she discovered that it was not a well-paying job.

Mendes wanted to join a convent and devote her life to the Catholic Church when she was a child but changed her mind, reports contactmusic.com.

"We didn't grow up with a lot of money so I would always tell my mom, 'Mommy I am going to buy you a big house when I grow up, and a car'," she said.

"And my sister said to me one day when I was 10, 'How are you going to buy mom all these things? You are going to be a nun and nuns don't get paid. I said, 'What?' and that was it, my convent dreams were over," she added.

After finding success and fame as an actress, the 36-year-old admits it was a very "proud moment" when she was able to make good on her promise to buy her mother a new home in 2002.

Eva Mendes who is in a relationship with producer George Gargurevich — loves the feeling of being looked after by her boyfriends.

She said, “The flip side to this strong career woman you see is a woman who loves being her man's woman. It's just sexy to belong to a man. Of course, we don't belong to anyone but ourselves, but how boring.

There's a certain part of me that's like, 'Please take care of me'. It's just a natural thing. But I'm not sure if every woman has it."

Eva, 34, also said she hates jealous men and would instantly end a relationship if her partner showed any signs of envy.

She added to Esquire magazine, “Jealousy is the one thing I can't tolerate in a guy.”

Hollywood actress Eva Mendes says she prefers to keep her ample chest under wraps, but won’t mind exposing them on ‘special occasions’.

The Hitch actress has been dating filmmaker George Gargurevich since 2002, reports China Daily . "I don't wear short things. As for cleavage, I'll bring the girls out at certain times but I don't parade them too often. I like to keep them for special occasions!" Eva said.

Eva, 34, recently revealed her love for high heels, but never buys heels above 5 inches because she finds it so difficult to move around.

"I absolutely love shoes. I can never have too many pairs. I especially love ones with huge stiletto heels - but it's always a circus act when I walk in them. I am all over the place,” Eva said.

Eva Mendes has said that she has had sex in all of America''s 50 states.

While appearing at New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week to promote her new line of fine bedding for Macys, Mendes made the ‘announcement’ during the launch party for designer Patricia Field''s upcoming line of ‘Sex & The City’ inspired fashions.

When pushed for more juicy details, the ‘Hitch’ star assured reporters her 50 state feat was not with 50 different men, according to various gossip websites.

"A lot of it was on a road trip I took when I was younger," the Daily Telegraph quoted Mendes, as saying.

As for where she had the best sex, she revealed it was in Arizona and Colorado.

"Maybe it was the clear air, or the quiet, or the endless sky, she noted, whatever it was, it was really, really good,” she said.

According to Mendes, the worst sex she had was in Alaska.

"I'd really like a do-over on that state," Mendes said.

Eva Mendes, the luscious leggy Latin lassie and PETA's (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) spokesperson, is the latest Hollywood starlet forced into Rehab in an attempt to combat an addition gone out of control. In her case, however, Mendes does not have a substance abuse problem, but she is addicted to chemicals - pheromones. Apparently, she just does not know how to say no, when it comes to affairs of the heart.

Word has it that her manager, friends and family members in an intervention confronted her after she was caught in bed with a group of striking writers she picked up picketing outside the Paramount studios gate in Hollywood.

"That's when we knew she hit rock bottom," said a friend of the family. "Who sleeps with the writers anyways?"

Mendes recently became the spokesperson for PETA where her naked buttocks appears on posters in a highly visible ad campaign to bring awareness to the plight of animals, many of whom are tortured in unnecessary consumer test product experiments, or sacrificed for their furs and pelts to the fashion industry.

Ironically, Mendes will undergo several secessions of the controversial shock therapy considered by PETA as cruel and inhumane treatment for animals.

After an emergency meeting, however, PETA board members voted to change the organizational rules to reclassify Medes as an honorary animal and vow to rescue her from the Rehab center.

"Usually we don't act on behalf of humans, only animals," said a spokesperson for PETA, while putting on black facial makeup in preparation for the raid on the Rehab center where Mendes is registered as a patient. "But since she [Mendes] is such a babe, we are willing to make an exception. Besides judging from how she behaves in bed, she's a real wildcat."

Sadly for EVA MENDES she wanted to grow up to be a nun... and it's hampering her film career.

The Ghost Rider star hates sex scenes so much that she broke down in tears due to the stress of an on-screen romp with JOAQUIN PHOENIX in new flick We Own the Night.

Eva said: "I did very much want to be a nun when I was younger.

"I guess there is this little Catholic girl still inside me somewhere because otherwise I would probably have had no problem with that scene.

"It's something I just have to deal with."

We Own The Night is the first time Eva has stripped naked in a movie.

Actress and supermodel Eva Mendes needed a cocktail to get over her nervousness before shooting a steamy nude sex scene with actor Joaquin Phoenix.

The Cuban American, who undressed for the first for a scene in ‘We Own the Night’, insisted that she normally would not drink while performing her jobs.

"I wasn't comfortable at all. They were very sweet and they poured me a vodka and orange juice and then I was fine," People quoted her, as stating at a press conference in Cannes.

"I'm very professional and I don't usually drink on the job but that morning I had a little vodka and OJ," she added.

The 33-year old also said that it was her first sex scene, and that she was glad that director James Gray made her comfortable with everything.

"It was my first sex scene and thank God it was with James Gray. Not that it was actually with James. He did it at the end of the shoot, so it was the last day and I was really, really comfortable with these clowns.
