Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has described her onscreen kiss with co-actor Penelope Cruz in Woody Allen’s movie ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ as the ‘least sexy thing ever imagined’.

Though much-hyped, 23-year-old Scarlett feels the romantic factor is missing in the kissing scene.

“There were 60 crewmen eating salami sandwiches, it’s really the least sexy thing you can ever imagine,” the Telegraph quoted the actress, as saying.

On the other hand, Penelope Cruz seems to be even less bothered about the kissing scene as she reveals that she is completely bored with the hype created over her kiss with Johansson.

“She and I have been asked that question a thousand times, and we are sorry that we don’t have any funny stories to tell you about it,” Cruz said.

Apparently the stars seemed uncomfortable as far as questions regarding their personal lives were concerned, as Johansson avoided any personal questions, while she walked down the red carpet without fiance Ryan Reynolds, and Cruz and Javier Bardem who have reportedly been dating walked separately.

Kissing Penelope Cruz was "the least sexy thing you can ever imagine", according to Scarlett Johansson. The blonde beauty, who locks lips with the Spanish siren Cruz in Woody Allen's new movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona, insists despite the hype surrounding the raunchy scene, it did not live up to her expectations.

Johansson said: "There were about 60 crewmen sitting around eating salami sandwiches! It's really the least sexy thing you can ever imagine!"

Scarlett also said the scene will only shock the most conservative viewers, adding: "These characters are in love with each other! Oh my gosh! People are so conservative!"

However Scarlett, who is engaged to Definitely, Maybe star Ryan Reynolds, admits she would love to be nominated in the Best Kiss category at next year's MTV Movie Awards.

"Anytime that my name and best kiss come up, I'm more than inclined to accept the award," she said.

It was Johansson's third time working with Allen, who directed her in Match Point and Scoop. Has she set a date with Reynolds?

“We’re just enjoying our time,” she said. “We’re just recently - very recently - engaged. So, you know, we’re just taking it easy. And no big plan yet. But it’s a good time and we’re just … enjoying our time to be young and engaged.

“I mean, I’m 23. There’s no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed.”

American actress Scarlett Johansson revealed that if she was ever in a kinky frame of mind, she would like to have sex in a car.

Scarlett, who announced her engagement to actor Ryan Reynolds in May (08), admitted to having the fantasy.

Barrack Obama put recent reports suggesting that he was in regular touch over e-mail with actress Scarlett Johansson in perspective saying that he responded to a single email from her thanking her for her support.

Scarlett will play a curvy, dangerous beauty named Silk N Floss. Alright, the name’s kind of bad, even Bond’s babes manage better, but she’s described as a sexy intelligent secretary whose an accomplice to the movie’s evil mastermind villain, which means lots of fun to be had with Scarlett Johansson

The third film is another boring costume drama. The rumor that Scarlett is doing Mary Queen of Scotts is confirmed, putting her back in the corsets and powdered wigs that Hollywood actresses and female moviegoers seem to favor. Yawn. Bring on The Spirit!

Scarlett Johansson is insisting on a no-nudity clause in all her movie contracts.

The curvaceous 22-year-old is determined to be seen as a serious actress and now won't commit to any role without the clause.

A source is quoted by Britain's Daily Express newspaper as saying: "Scarlett is still very young and is aware the roles she takes are going to set out where her career as an actress takes her in the future.

Co-director Robert Pulcini revealed that though he and Shari Springer Berman were apprehensive of approaching Johansson because of all her "glamour", they had been in for a pleasant surprise.

"We thought about how we would approach Scarlett because she is very glamorous, but she's the one who said, 'I really think I should have brown hair and look like an everyday college girl in this movie,'" Hollywoodrag.com quoted him, as saying.

"It's very much the story of a girl finding her identity. She's quite confused about what kind of future she should choose, and she ducks out of her life for a period and deals with other people's problems instead of her own. She's avoiding that final step into adulthood," Pulcini added.

The 'Nanny Diaries' is based on the novel of the same name by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus.

The movie also stars Laura Linney and Paul Giamatti as the snobby parents of a spoilt brat who becomes Johansson's charge. The movie began filming in 2006, and is scheduled for release later this year.

John Travolta had quite the interesting interview with MTV recently, in which the actor dished on young Hollywood stars, including a personal crush on a certain someone.

Travolta’s biggest confession was that he has a crush on Scarlet Johansson. The 53-year-old actor thinks Scarlett, 22, is the most beautiful and talented actress of her generation. As she received her award on Thursday, Scarlett joked, "This is the closest I'll ever get to a Harvard degree, for sure."

The prestigious honour is given by student drama group Hasty Pudding Theatricals to performers who have made a "lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment".

Ben Stiller is to be crowned Harvard Hasty Pudding man of the year on February 23.
