Infamous rapper-turned-reality-star Vanilla Ice has revealed that he broke up with Madonna over her explicit ‘Sex’ book.
The pair split in 1992 after an eight-month relationship, reports Digital Spy.
"I broke up with her after she printed [the explicit book, "Sex"] because I was hurt to be an unwitting part of this slutty package," the 43-year-old told News of the World.
Ice, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, appeared in the 1992 book in a sexually suggestive position with a fully nude Madonna, but admitted to the U.K. paper that he found it "disgusting and cheap."
"We were in a relationship, yet it looked like she was screwing all these other people," the New York Daily News quoted him as saying.
"I thought she was taking pictures and running round naked because she was like that. Then when the book came out I was so embarrassed and ashamed. It was a porno." Madonna, 52, "threw me in like I was a product off a shelf, and I didn't appreciate it," he said.
"That was it and I ended it," the musician recalled. "She said she didn't have sex with these men, but it looked like she was," he added.

Madonna, who recently announced she's divorcing Guy Ritchie, has reportedly advised Britney Spears never to marry again.

According to reports, the 'Material Girl' has told Britney, who divorced Kevin Federline in 2006, not to walk down the aisle again, reports China Daily.

Earlier this month, Britney joined the 50-year-old diva on stage at a performance as part of her 'Sticky and Sweet' world tour.

"Britney asked Madonna if she will ever marry again after her split from Guy. Madonna not only said she wouldn't but told Britney to forget about marriage. She said it just doesn't work for girls like them," a source close to Madonna told gossip website AbsoluteNow.com.

The source added, "Madonna clearly sees a lot of herself in Britney because she seems very eager to help her."

Madonna and Britney have been friends since they appeared together at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003, where they infamously shared a kiss on stage. Britney also collaborated with Madonna on her 2003 hit 'Me Against the Music'.

Guy Ritchie has apparently claimed that his marriage to Madonna took the tumble when the singer began scheduling their sex life in her diary, adjusting it after her workout sessions.

The 40-year-old reportedly revealed that Madonna regulated her life with such a strict routine that she had even started planning their private moments well in advance.

The Brit director claimed he was put off from spending time with his wife since she chose to prioritise her fixation with the exercising routines and Kabbalah religion.

"With her time being so precious to her, and with there being more important things to her like spending three of four hours in the gym every day, it become just another thing in the diary,” the Daily Telegraph quoted a source, as telling the Daily Mail.

“In the last couple of years, it was all schemed into the diary. Guy of course felt this a tremendous turn-off to be at the same level of importance as, for example, her gym sessions and kabbalah meetings. As a consequence, their sex life died more than a year ago.

"It is no exaggeration to say that they had not shared a bed in a year when the divorce was announced. And when the sex died for them, the marriage was doomed,” the source added.

Former Yankee baseball star Jose Canseco claims that not only did Queen of Pop Madonna want to sleep with him, but that she wanted him to father her child.

Canseco revealed to Us magazine that Madonna begged him for 'some of his genes' so that she could give her daughter Lourdes a Cuban sibling.

"She had a Cuban child and wanted another one. She wanted to get married and have a child with me," he said.

Canseco recalls, "We went downstairs [at her house in the Hollywood Hills] and she came over and said, 'What would you do if I kissed you?' and then sat on my lap and kissed me."

And, he's claiming that Madge even offered to support him if he split with his wife.

"She said, 'I have lots of money. Don't worry about that,'" he reveals. Madonna is currently busy denying claims that she was having an affair with baseball star Alex Rodriguez.

Pop superstar Madonna is happy getting older because she believes she is becoming more attractive with each passing year.

Contactmusic.com reports that the singer, who will be 50 in August this year, feels more fit, toned and more attractive than she has ever been.

She said: 'I like the way I look better now. My thighs aren't as chubby. I'm not kidding. I'm being perfectly honest.'

Madonna admits she never thought of herself as a natural beauty saying, 'I see myself as practical and handsome and useful. I don't think of myself as a great beauty. But I think of myself as stylish.'

She also doesn't reminisce too much about her past looks and said, 'I don't look at old pictures of myself. I don't look at pictures of myself from last week. Once I've approved of them, they're gone.'

Pop superstar Madonna, who performed in Britain recently, used the f-word twice on a TV show, which led to complaints.

The sun.co.uk reports that furious complaints followed the broadcast even though the viewers were warned that there might be strong language.

Madonna introduced her song 'Hung Up' on the show, saying, 'You guys are going to have to start f***ing it up out there 'cos I need to feel some love. I'm going to do an old song. But not too old. F**k the present. Let's live in the past.'

She had also caused controversy last year when she swore at the Live Earth gig.

While she's known as a raunchy pop star, Madonna claims that she was actually a "geek" and "very straight" at the beginning of her career. The soon to be 50 superstar, claims that she was a simpleton in her 20s—at the time when she hit the pop scene clad in basques and black lace and married hell raising actor Sean Penn.

"I really was not getting up to much. I don't think I was as naughty as I could have been. I was quite straight. I was a geek when I was that age. I did not really do that much that was interesting," the Daily Express quoted her, as saying.

Talking about her early hit 'Like A Virgin', she said: "There is a kind of simplicity about it. There is an innocence about it. When I look at the video I also see a girl who is innocent and wide-eyed and really excited about life and the beginning of her career."

However, when it comes to her raunchy book 'Sex', which was released when she was at the height of her fame in 1992 and in which she posed in bare essentials, Madonna claims that she is not just about shedding clothes.

"I hope that's not the only thing that I'm identified with - taking off my clothes. I have done other things. There's a lot more to being Madonna than taking off your clothes," she said.

American pop singer Madonna has revealed that she is trying to be more ladylike – because she feels that she is too "masculine".

Madge claimed that she has always been comfortable with her masculine side, but would now like to concentrate on being more feminine.

"I think I've been honing and finessing my feminine side,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

She further stated that she likes the idea of being more flexible and more vulnerable.

"I've always been very comfortable with my masculine side - the confidence, the ballsiness. I've learnt to be more pliant, more vulnerable - and to be comfortable with that," she added.

The BBC reports that an American couple and a purported Marilyn Monroe expert have been left red-faced after they mistook a nude picture of Madonna for one of the doomed 1950s starlet.

The shot depicts a woman wearing nothing but high heels and a handbag, with a cigarette dangling from her mouth.

Lawrence Nicastro, 73, of Las Vegas, said that he found a poor-quality poster-sized photo in his home which he thought was a rare nude photo of Monroe.

Together with his wife he then spent the next four months researching the photo.

Pop star Madonna is still the material girl, earning $72 million in a recent 12-month period to top a Forbes.com list of female singers whom the financial website dubbed "Cash Queens of Music."

Madonna, who rose to recording superstardom in the 1980s as the "Material Girl" after her hit song of that name, beat out Barbra Streisand, who was No 2 with annual earnings of $60 million, and Celine Dion at $45 million, according to Forbes.com.

The website tracked earnings in the period from June 2006 to June 2007 and said it examined concert ticket sales, merchandise revenue, album sales and earnings from ancillary products such as clothing, perfumes and endorsements.

Rounding out the top five on Forbes.com's "Cash Queens of Music" poll were Colombian singing sensation Shakira at No 4 with $38 million and R&B singer Beyonce with $27 million.

Country music stars also did well, with Faith Hill landing in the No 8 slot with $19 million and the Dixie Chicks at No 9 with $18 million.

Then there was Britney Spears. For all her troubles in the past year -- a stint in rehab and a bitter custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, among them -- the pop star still made No. 14 on the list, earning $8 million from royalties on old songs and sales of her perfume, Curious.

Her latest album, "Blackout," was released late in 2007 after the period covered by the Forbes.com survey.

Late last year, Madonna ended her long relationship with Warner Music Group Corp and reached a recording deal with concert promoter Live Nation Inc.

Music icon Madonna is making sure that son David Banda has someone of his own colour in the house by adopting a baby girl named Mercy from Malawi.

Despite the controversy caused by Madonna’s adoption of toddler David, she has been given the go-ahead to adopt the 13-month old orphan who she calls ‘her smiling angel’.

Determined to avoid the wrangling that went on when she took David home, Madge has told her lawyer in Malawi, Alan Chinula, to “cover all legal bases” before she collects Mercy next April, reports The Sun .

A close family source revealed that the singer was ecstatic about adding another baby to the family.

“Madonna’s over the moon that she’s been told she can take Mercy. She didn’t want another complicated adoption,” the paper quoted the source, as saying.

“Mercy is a beautiful baby girl. She’s so joyful and happy and giggles every time she’s picked up. Madonna just loves the way she claps her hands and laughs constantly. She has huge, dancing eyes. Madonna calls her smiling angel,” the source added.

Madge will file papers in February, a month after David’s adoption is finalised.

The singer’s camp has however declined to comment about Mercy.

It seems Madonna's sexcapades are coming back to haunt her. The singing sex diva of the eighties and nineties is now believed to have almost had sex with John F Kennedy Jr. but they stopped because they did not have a condom!

Madonna, whose debut album Like A Virgin in 1984 instantly made her the sexiest woman in the US, and John, whose father was assassinated US president John F Kennedy, had reportedly checked-in to a cheap Chicago motel in 1988. However, their steamy rendezvous was cut short due to lack of protection.

A close friend of John's back from the Kennedy scion's Brown University days, Rob Littell, is said to have revealed the incident to C David Heymann, the author of new book American Legacy.

According to a US website, Rob is reported to have said, "Madonna and John were working their way around the bases, and as they rounded third and headed for home, she asked him if he had any protection. He didn't, so now they began discussing how they were going to get a hold of a prophylactic. She was still legally married to Sean Penn, and John had a steady girlfriend... They were afraid of being busted.

They couldn't very well just meander into a pharmacy and ask for a pack of Trojans. They were too well known... To John's great chagrin, the relationship was never completed." Madonna subsequently went on to separate from Sean at the end of 1988 and the couple divorced the following year. John, who US society magazines described as a political playboy, married Carolyn Bessette in September 1996, but the pair died in a tragic plane crash in July 1999. Madonna, 48, is now married to British film director Guy Ritchie. The diva doesn't shock anymore, but she is making a comeback with her music.

Singer Madonna and her husband Ritchie, film director Guy Ritchie, are once again the subjects of artist Peter Howson's work -- much to their dismay.

The new painting depicts an extremely muscular Madonna lying naked on a bed with Ritchie laying his hand on her thigh, also grotesquely muscled, The Sunday Times of London reported.

This is the third painting Howson has put the couple in. It was reportedly done as a provocation toward Ritchie.

Matthew Flowers, Howson's dealer, said Ritchie was unhappy about the two earlier paintings from 2002, which also showed the singer nude.

"Peter is a bit obsessed with Madonna. There are strong rumours that Guy was very jealous of the earlier pictures he'd painted of her and wanted to knock Peter's block off," Flowers said.

In the recent painting, the blonde singer reclines bare on a green drape, gazing at her artist, and next to her is a bald lover, pawing her flawless flesh.

Pop Star Madonna's former nanny Melissa Dumas has lost her deal with Crown Publishing to write a book detailing her time with the pop superstar.

The child carer worked for the Material Girl and her husband Guy Ritchie from 2005-2006, which included their controversial adoption of Malawian baby David Banda in October.

Recent press reports suggested Crown Publishing were paying Dumas up to $5m (€7.3m) for her 80-page story on Madonna's family life with children Lourdes, 10; Rocco, six; and David, 18 months.

Dumas' agent Sharlene Martin tells the New York Daily News: "I deeply regret that Crown decided not to move forward in publishing (the nanny's) book."

Madonna is set to join the cast of hit plastic surgery drama Nip/Tuck after confessing she's a big fan of the show. Ryan Murphy reveals he's currently writing a part for the pop superstar. Murphy would like Madonna to play opposite pal and A League of Their Own co-star Rosie O'Donnell, who has become a regular on the show after hitting the headlines for a sex scene she filmed with Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon last season.

Murphy says, "I'm going to write something for Madonna, who is a fan of the show and I would love for her to do something with Rosie."

Madonna isn't be the only big name being considered for upcoming episodes - Nicole Kidman has already signed on for a cameo and McMahon explains Sandra Bullock is also interested in a role.

He adds, "Sandy said she wanted to come on last year and she didn't. She wants to come on the last episode and she wants to get her whole body done, or something."

Pop Star Madonna says she wants to be like spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi.

She adds peace campaigners John Lennon and Martin Luther King to her roll call of individuals she emulates.

Agencies have reported Madonna, 48, says she likes to be inspired.

"For me the best thing in the world is to see something or hear something and go `damn, I wish I did that, damn, I wish I could do that. That's inspiring'."

She told Sirius Radio in the US: "I want to be like Gandhi, and Martin Luther King, and John Lennon... but I want to stay alive.

"I'd like to think I am taking people on a journey ... I am not just entertaining people, but giving them something to think about when they leave."
