American actress Christina Ricci has slammed actress Lindsay Lohan for her role as a stripper in her upcoming movie, insisting that the troubled starlet has set a bad example for young and impressionable girls.

The 28-year-old admits that actresses like Lohan have created a culture of women who find flattery in misogyny.

“It used to be something that we (women) were sort of ashamed of. You didn’t want to admit to people that you were a stripper, The Sun quoted her as saying.

“But now, the hottest thing to say is ‘I can work a pole!’ Who gives a f***? But it’s a huge weird thing.

“I mean, you see actresses, and their passion project is to play a stripper. It’s just stupid, she added.

Christina Ricci was sexually assaulted by a chimpanzee on the set of her latest movie.

The actress, who already has a phobia of the animal, revealed Chim Chim grabbed her left breast while she was filming Penelope.

Christina - who plays a woman born with a pig's nose in the movie - said: "I'm afraid of monkeys, but I had decided not to be afraid of Chim Chim because no one else is. I thought, 'Everyone else thinks he's awesome so just be cool.'

"It's the first day of shooting and I have this kitchen scene where I'm sitting down and Chim Chim is sitting right next to me. Of course, it freaks out during the take and grabs my left breast and will not let go, and he's so strong."

Christina was so terrified she had to be rescued by her fellow co-stars, including Reese Witherspoon, James McAvoy and Richard E Grant.

She revealed: "I'm so freaked out and the rest of the actors are facing the other way so no one sees that this has happened to me and I'm like, 'Help, help' as quietly and calmly as possible so this thing does not freak out any further.

"Finally they got him off me but my fear is completely validated and I did not go near him for the rest of the shoot. Monkeys are crazy and you never what they'll grab onto - I don't like unpredictable animals."

Christina Ricci paraded around naked on the set of her new film. The 'Addams Family' star, who plays nymphomaniac Rae in 'Black Snake Moan', got into character by stripping off in front of the cast and crew.

Christina said: "I needed to lose any sort of self-consciousness because I feel sometimes you can see self-consciousness in a performance when somebody is naked or in a nude scene.

"I really needed for that not to be there, so to help me I stayed the way I would be for the scene all the time - in order to get the crew really used to seeing me that way. Not only was I comfortable, but I could look at anybody's face and see they were comfortable.

"It was really necessary for the crew to be used to me undressed because I was playing someone who places no value on her body. She has no regard for herself so she wouldn't care if she were clothed or not."

The 27-year-old became so used to being naked she was still walking around undressed after filming finished.

She said: "It was kind of funny because, you know, I'm a prude and I do not like walking around naked.

"I was in my bathroom about two months after the movie finished and I was brushing my teeth and I was in my underwear. I looked down and it was like, 'Oh, god, put something on.'

"And then I just stopped and thought, 'Oh my god, I was half naked for two months and my ass was on camera.

Actress Christina Ricci is apparently drained after filming steamy scenes in her latest flick, and hence has decided to refrain from shooting sex sequences in her upcoming movies.

The 27-year-old actress was exhausted after filming the intimate scenes with co-star Justin Timberlake in ‘Black Snake Moan’.

"I've had enough sex for the next two years of my career with this movie,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

The Golden Globe nominee, who plays a the chained-up, lingerie-clad nymphomaniac in the movie, earlier admitted that she would have quit her movie career if she had not landed the lead role in ‘Black Snake Moan’.

The actress revealed that she had told her therapist that she would quit acting if she didn’t get the part in the movie, especially since the role seemed tailor made for her.

"I told my therapist, if I didn't get the part I was going to quit," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"What I meant was that it so seemed like what I should be doing that. If I didn't get it, I would have no idea of what it was that people wanted me to be doing in this industry and what I was supposed to be doing," she said.
