Rumours are rife that suggest a movie based on the board game Monopoly may be in the works! Not only that, but starlet Scarlett Johansson may star in the film!

This is being met with derision by most of the film publications covering it, however stranger things have happened (although admittedly not many).

No details about what sort of plot would be involved, only that Johansson and “Gladiator” director Ridley Scott are both rumoured to be involved.
