Paris Hilton's birthday party leaves her in tears

Paris Hilton was left in tears at her own birthday party after her close friend's outrageous behaviour saw him ejected.

The socialite was celebrating her 26th birthday at Beverly Hills¡¯ Prime Grill restaurant with a number of pals when a clearly inebriated Brandon Davis started insulting her guests.

According to The Sun, he started by mocking American Idol judge Paula Abdul's Syrian ancestory, then proceeded to "hurl flowers and pieces of foam at her" before "speaking gibberish in an Arabic accent".

The oil magnate's son ¨C who famously helped Hilton insult their former pal Lindsay Lohan ¨C then turned his attentions on rocker Courtney Love, who had come along with her daughter Frances Bean.

An onlooker reports, "He lifted her up so she was straddling his waist. Her dress was riding up as he made lewd suggestions and simulated sex in front of her daughter."

With Courtney disappearing off into the night, Brandon was soon following her after he followed up by "lunging" at Paris' Chopard diamond necklace.

Davis, who was forced into rehab last year by his mega-rich family, was dragged out by security ¨C leaving Paris in floods of tears.

Britney "Doing Great"

Britney Spears is "doing great" in rehab according to ex-patient and Hollywood star, Daniel Baldwin.

The actor told US Weekly mag that he offered Britters his support when he bumped into her as he was leaving the centre, following his own treatment for drug addiction.

The actor said, "She seemed a little fearful", but added, "she knows she needs some help."

He also gave the shaven-headed popstar his phone number so she could keep in touch - and offered these words of wisdom: "Don’t drink, don’t use." Well duh!

Just staying put in the centre would be an achievement for Britney after being in, out, in, and out of Promises rehab clinic last week.

Medics rush for Britney's in rehab

Britney Spears had her kith and kin worried sick when paramedics were rushed to the rehab center to treat her.

The troubled singer, who entered the Promises clinic in Malibu on Thursday, Feb 22, is receiving intensive treatment for alcohol abuse.

What had fans worried was that minutes after the paramedics arrived, Britney’s mom Lynne as well as her estranged hubby Kevin Federline and their two kids Sean Preston and Jayden James also landed at the clinic.

Officials confirmed that Spears was examined by paramedics after a call by worried staff on Saturday night.

"She is going to be OK," the Mirror quoted a Malibu sheriff at the scene, as saying.

"Police said staff were concerned about Britney - but they didn't say why. Her mother looked very worried," a witness said.

Much to the dismay of her family, friends and fans, the singer’s life has been spiraling out of control ever since she dumped Federline last year.

Since then, she has been indulging in wild and boozy parties, been snapped without panties, and the latest shaving of her head and getting tattooed.

Her wild behavior not only has people speculating that she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown, but has also resulted in the loss of popularity that she enjoyed in the 90s, as well as the shutdown of her biggest fan site.

Her manager, Larry Rudolph, has in the meantime rubbished reports that the singer is on a “suicide watch” in the clinic, after she reportedly tried to take her own life.

Justin Timberlake in big controversy at small town nightclub in Illinois

There's tons of controversy surrounding a possible appearance by Justin Timberlake at a club in Illinois. The promoters say they have paid for him to come, but the star and his peeps say they don't know what they're talking about.

Sharky's Billiards owner Joe Piagentini says a promoter assured him that Timberlake had been paid $25,000 to make an autograph-signing appearance at the bar after a March 13 concert at Rosemont in the Chicago suburbs.

This could be the best publicity spin this club has ever put on any appearance. Gotta get on the map somehow huh?

Kevin Federline brings kids to visit Britney Spear in rehab

Britney Spears' estranged husband, Kevin Federline, has taken their two young children to visit the troubled star in rehab. A source close to the couple told People: "The kids are his number one priority and they always have been. He's so stressed out right now. He only wants the best for Britney and the kids."

Apparently, the rehabilitation centre she is in is more like a five star hotel, with gourmet meals, massages, and excellent views of Malibu's finest beaches. Promises Residential Treatment Centre is set to be Britneys home for the next month if she wishes to resurrect her career and family relationships.

Wide-open races may boost Oscars ratings

A classic Hollywood cliffhanger will conclude Sunday's Academy Awards, and organizers hope the suspense of an up-for-grabs best-picture race will be enough to keep TV audiences tuned in through the finale.

Hollywood's biggest party has lost some of its luster for viewers at home over the last decade, with TV ratings on a general decline and smaller movies that fewer people have seen dominating key Oscar categories.

Fewer eyeballs on the movies usually translates to fewer eyeballs on the Oscar ceremony, as the TV audience feels less vested in the outcome.

This time, though, the best-picture race is as wide open as it has been in years, lacking the usual front-runner or two that everyone just knows will end up winning.

Earlier film awards that serve as a dress rehearsal for the Oscars have been all over the place, their top prizes spread out among so many different movies that any one of the five nominees conceivably could walk off with best picture.

"The chatter about this being a wide-open year I think encourages viewership," said Sid Ganis, president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. "And it's a diverse year in terms of the combination of ethnicity and nationality. The films come from all over the place this year, and lord knows, we have nominees in all shades and colors."

Five blacks, two Hispanics and an Asian are among the 20 acting nominees, including best-actor front-runners Forest Whitaker and supporting-acting favorites Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Hudson.

And the best-picture race presents a notably international scope, including a road trip on America's byways ("Little Miss Sunshine"), a classy British drama ("The Queen"), a Japanese-language war tale ("Letters From Iwo Jima") and a globe-trotting ensemble story ("Babel").

Unlike the previous two years, this season's best-picture crop has a $100 million hit going into Oscar night, the cops-and-mobsters epic "The Departed." The other nominees have ranged from about $12 million to $60 million at the box office.

Collectively, the five best-picture nominees had taken in a modest $256 million through last weekend, translating to about 38.5 million moviegoers. That continued a trend over the last three years in which more intimate films with smaller audiences have ruled at the Oscars, unlike blockbuster years when 100 million people or more had seen best-picture contenders.

"There aren't a lot of people cheering on these films. Unfortunately, the Oscars are being punished for the evolution of filmmaking and where it is today, with the great movies being made by independent filmmakers," said Tom O'Neil, a columnist for the Los Angeles Times' awards site TheEnvelope.com. "The great movies are no longer the studio-packaged blockbusters like they used to be, like `Rain Man' or even `Gladiator.' The best movies being made are more art house."

The largest TV audience the Oscar ceremony has ever drawn came in 1998, when 55 million people tuned in to see king-of-the-blockbusters "Titanic" crowned best picture. The number of viewers has been down since, averaging about 40 million over the last five years.

This season's Oscars lost the chance to have two $100 million hits in the best-picture mix when the musical "Dreamgirls" surprisingly missed out on a nomination.

The best musical or comedy winner at the Golden Globes, "Dreamgirls" had looked like a lock for a best-picture slot, and many thought it could emerge as a favorite to win.

"Dreamgirls" director Bill Condon certainly was disappointed, though glad the film led with eight nominations, including acting slots for Murphy and Hudson.

"We live in this world of so much speculation. You're grateful for anything you do get, because you're not entitled to any of this," Condon said. "I'm thrilled so many people in the movie are nominated. Thrilled for Eddie and Jennifer."

Murphy and Hudson's roles as soul singers are expected to win them the supporting Oscars, with Helen Mirren as British monarch Elizabeth II in "The Queen" and Whitaker as Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in "The Last King of Scotland" the favorites for the lead-acting prizes.

Perpetual runner-up Martin Scorsese seems a safe bet to finally win the best-directing Oscar for "The Departed," his return to a modern crime genre for which he practically wrote the book with such films as "Taxi Driver" and "Goodfellas."

For the third straight time, the Oscars feature a new host, with Ellen Degeneres following Chris Rock and Jon Stewart, the masters of ceremonies the last two years.

The star-studded lineup of Oscar presenters features Tom Cruise, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tom Hanks and Nicole Kidman, while musical performers include Beyonce, Melissa Etheridge, Randy Newman and James Taylor.

The ceremony also will include honorary Oscars for film composer and five-time nominee Ennio Morricone, ("Cinema Paradiso," "The Mission," "The Untouchables") and former Paramount studio boss Sherry Lansing, honored for humanitarian efforts that include her work with the group Stop Cancer and a variety of charitable causes.

After last year's startling best-picture win for "Crash," which beat the odds-on favorite "Brokeback Mountain," just about anything could happen this time with the big prize.

While "Letters From Iwo Jima" and "The Queen" are solid contenders, the three films with the most heat from previous awards shows are "Babel," "The Departed" and "Little Miss Sunshine."

The Oscars have not had this much drama since the 1995 awards, which were considered a three-way race among "Apollo 13," "Sense and Sensibility" and eventual best-picture winner "Braveheart," O'Neil said.

"It's the one saving grace this Oscar show has, the fact that it really does deliver the most suspenseful best-picture race we've seen in 11 years," O'Neil said. "People watch this because it's a horse race, and the greatest suspense surrounds the most important Oscar of all. That redeems this Oscar show."

The creative blonde is even considering setting up an internet shoe shop boasting her own designs.

Anderson tells fans on her website, "I'm getting rid of our Uggs - I feel so guilty for that craze being started around Baywatch days. I used to wear them with my red swimsuit to keep warm - never realising that they were skin! I thought they were shaved kindly?

Kate Winslet admits unhealthy crash dieting as a teen

Kate Winslet has revealed that while she’s happy with her weight now, she once developed an addiction to laxatives in an effort to lose weight.

Kate told Hollywood Life recently: “When I was 15, I was nearly 14 stone (196 pounds). I was uncomfortable and self-conscious. I knew I wanted to be an actress and was big.”

“Over a year I sensibly got down to 10 stone (140 pounds). Then I became addicted to losing weight and went too far. I was never anorexic or bulimic. I went through a three-month experimental laxative time which was absolutely awful.”

“Luckily I was strong enough to be able to say to myself: ‘What are you doing? You are just really hungry.’”

“The whole weight thing drives me crazy. This stuff is so important to me because I have been there and know what a vicious cycle it is.”

“You want to teach young people that beauty comes from within and that food is great and a huge part of life. I am very, very normal. I am actually proud of all the marks and scars that I bear.”

Gwen Stefani is one of the latest celebrities to send well wishes out to troubled popstar, Britney Spears. Gwen, who empathizes with Britney's role as a mother of two young sons - Gwen's son Kingston is about nine months old - said she wishes she could give Britney a kiss.

London's Daily Mirror quotes Stefani as saying, "I used to live in the same area as Britney for a while. I just want to scoop her up and give her a kiss. I hope she's all right. She's just had a new baby and stuff. I hope she can just enjoy it because it's an incredible thing."

Like Kelly Clarkson and Britney's ex, Justin Timberlake, Gwen said that she liked Britney's new bald look. She said, "She looks good with her hair shaved off."

Paris Hilton Pal Kim Kardashian Sues To Stop Sex Tape

Paris Hilton's best pal Kim Kardashian has filed a lawsuit in a bid to halt an internet porn firm from distributing a sex tape featuring the socialite romping with ex-boyfriend Ray J.

Bosses at Vivid Entertainment have been trying to convince the interior designer to let them cash in on the sexy tape on her behalf, but Kardashian is determined to keep the intimate footage private.

In a statement served hours after she filed her lawsuit in Los Angeles on Wednesday (21Feb07), Kardashian said, "This tape, which was made three years ago, and was meant to be something private between myself and my then boyfriend, is extremely hurtful not only to me, but to my family as well.

"I am filing legal charges against the company who is distributing this tape since it is being sold completely without my permission or consent."

Britney's back in rehab after custody fears

Britney Spears has gone back into rehab for a third time amid reports estranged husband Kevin Federline promised to fight for custody of their children if she did not return.

Yesterday, the fallen pop princess checked herself out of the Promises rehab facility in Malibu after less than 24 hours.

It was reported she had heard K-Fed has taken their children - Sean Preston, 17 months, and five-month-old Jayden James - from her mother and was seeking an emergency court hearing to claim custody.

Brit left Promises for a doorstep showdown with Kevin, attacking a nearby photographer with an umbrella.

The court hearing was cancelled when Britney returned to Promises to finish her treatment.

But it is though Kevin will fight for permanent custody of the children if Brit doesn't complete her programme, rumoured to last around 40 days.

Last week Britney managed to last just 24 hours in Eric Clapton's Crossroads rehab facility in Antigua, before prompting speculation that she may be on the verge of a nervous breakdown by walking into a hair salon and shaving off her own hair.

Britney back in rehab for the third time!

Britney went into rehab today for the third time within in a week. The pop tart was reportedly coerced to return and complete her treatment by her estranged husband Kevin Federline.

Federline, who had requested an emergency court hearing today in connection with his child custody dispute with Britney has cancelled his request, according to TMZ which broke the story.

Federline is reportedly concerned for Spears and wants her to get help. He has given Britney a final chance. If Britney leaves rehab before her treatment is complete (30-45 days) Federline intends to go to court immediately and seek full custody of their children.

The children are currently reported to be in the custody of Federline, and have been since last week.

As reported earlier, Britney had visited Federline's house in San Fernando Valley last night but returned without meeting him because she did not receive a response to her buzzes on the intercom.

Justin Timberlake loves Britney's shaved head

The 'SexyBack' singer admits he was surprised by his ex-girlfriend's decision to cut her locks but thinks she can pull off the drastic look.

He is quoted by MTV as saying: "It was a smart choice, she is starting over, cleaning herself up. It was something you wouldn't expect most people to do, so she is taking a chance."

Justin and Britney became friends when they starred together as children on the 'New Mickey Mouse Club' TV show.

They dated for several years before splitting in March 2002, amid speculation Britney had cheated on Justin.

On Tuesday night (20.02.07) Britney checked herself into rehab.

The 25-year-old singer admitted herself into California's Promises Malibu Treatment Center following concerns over her erratic behavior.

Her manager Larry Rudolph confirmed: "Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into a rehab facility. We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."

Rudolph did not disclose what Britney was being treated for. US reports claim the 'Toxic' singer has allegedly taken cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs.

Britney checks into rehab facility

A screaming match with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, left Britney Spears reeling - and, after a public breakdown, running for rehab, sources said Tuesday.

As a fitting finale to a series of strange events that led Spears to shave off all her hair last weekend, Spears entered a prominent Malibu, Calif., treatment center Monday night.

"Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today," her manager, Larry Rudolph, said in a statement. "We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."

Photos confirm Spears has checked into the posh seaside celebrity haven Promises. She was spotted strolling the lush grounds Tuesday in a hot-pink tank top and pants that appeared to still have the sizing sticker attached.

Spears had removed her ill-fitting blond wig and was photographed scowling and smoking a cigarette.

Rudolph said Tuesday that the decision for treatment was Spears'. In a call to E! News' Ryan Seacrest, Rudolph said he had just spoken to Spears and that she told him all she wants is time to rest, to get better and focus on her recovery.

According to OK! magazine, it was a blowout with Federline that sent Spears reeling over the edge.

"They had a huge argument," a source told the magazine. "Kevin threatened Britney that he was going to have people test her hair to find out exactly what she's been up to. She was so scared. That was what made her have her head shaved."

Testing her hair could determine whether she had been abusing illegal drugs, which could be used against her in the looming battle for custody of their two young children.

Spears' friends say the detoxing diva was bowing to pressure from Federline, friends, family and Rudolph, who pleaded with her to return to rehab.

A typical stay at the resort-like center, tucked in the Santa Monica mountains, is around 45 days. Patients often share a room, attend group and individualized therapy sessions and do chores. Estimated costs for a stint at the plush facility is between $40,000 and $60,000.

On Monday, Richard Rogg, founder and CEO of Promises, said Spears' original short-lived visit to the Crossroads rehab facility in Antigua last weekend was an act of desperation.

"It usually happens when someone is coerced into being there, or they're so drunk and loaded that they come into treatment - wake up, and they're gone," said Rogg.

Promises boasts a who's-who of Hollywood alumni, including Ben Affleck, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew Perry, Charlie Sheen and Diana Ross.

As Spears strolled the center's grounds, a fleet of paparazzi was flying overhead in helicopters with the doors removed, hovering over the facility to snap lucrative shots of the recovery-seeking songstress.

Pamela Refuses To Sign Nude Photo Of Herself

Pamela Anderson doesn't mind stripping for the camera, but she just can't see a nude picture of herself afterwards.

The busty blonde was recently left embarrassed after a fan asked her to sign a naked picture while she was with her sons.

The former "Baywatch" actress - who has two sons, Dylan and Brandon, with her ex-husband Tommy Lee - was approached by the brazen fan as she left a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game.

Pam Bam said, "Someone was trying to shove this naked picture at me and the boys go, 'Mom, they were trying to get you to sign naked pictures.' They were disgusted."

The 39-year-old is not the only "Baywatch" beauty who has refused to sign nude pictures of herself recently. Carmen Electra - who has posed naked for Playboy magazine - was happily autographing pictures for fans as she left Hollywood restaurant Mr. Chow earlier this month but stopped signing when presented with a naked photograph.

Carmen said, "I feel weird signing nude!"

The model-and-actress got in her car and left the rest of the fans' pictures unsigned.

Madonna wants to be like Mahatma Gandhi

Pop Star Madonna says she wants to be like spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi.

She adds peace campaigners John Lennon and Martin Luther King to her roll call of individuals she emulates.

Agencies have reported Madonna, 48, says she likes to be inspired.

"For me the best thing in the world is to see something or hear something and go `damn, I wish I did that, damn, I wish I could do that. That's inspiring'."

She told Sirius Radio in the US: "I want to be like Gandhi, and Martin Luther King, and John Lennon... but I want to stay alive.

"I'd like to think I am taking people on a journey ... I am not just entertaining people, but giving them something to think about when they leave."

Lindsay Lohan Parties After Being Released From Rehab

Lindsay Lohan wasted no time getting back to her hard-partying lifestyle after a stint in rehab - she was spotted out in Los Angeles the night before her treatment ended. The actress officially checked out of the Wonderland Center in the Hollywood Hills after completing a 30-day stay on Friday. The night before being released from the facility, Lohan was spotted partying at Hollywood nightclub Teddy's.

The star's publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, confirms Lohan finished her treatment telling entertainment news show "Access Hollywood," "She will continue as an outpatient. She will take it day by day. She's in it for the long haul, and she asks that her privacy be respected."

The 20-year-old, who is not legally allowed to drink, was photographed late Friday night at Los Angeles club Les Deux. The star was seen chatting with Justin Timberlake in the parking lot just as he was leaving the club.

Lohan checked herself into rehab in early January after reports surfaced she had passed out at a post-Golden Globes party.

Britney Spear on the brink

Britney Spears has sparked fears she is on the verge of a breakdown after shaving her head.

The 25-year-old singer - who is said to be terrified of losing her children in a custody battle with estranged husband Kevin Federline - was seen crying in her limousine before entering Esther's Haircutting Salon in Tarazana, California, on Friday (16.02.07).

After hairdressers refused to shave her head, Britney grabbed a pair of clippers and sheared off her locks herself.

Salon owner Esther Tognozzi said: "I tried to talk her out of it, but she said, 'No, I absolutely want it shaved off now.'

"Afterwards she looked in the mirror and said with tears in her eyes, 'Oh, my God, I shaved it all off. My mom is going to be so upset with me.'

"I asked her if the buzz cut was a symbol of a new beginning and she said, 'Yeah, something like that.' "

An hour later Britney went to the Body and Soul Tattoo parlour and had pink lips etched onto her wrist and a black, pink and white cross on her lower hip.

One onlooker revealed: "She said she was tired of having things plugged into her. She seemed distraught and disturbed, like she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown."

Later that night, troubled Britney was seen at Beverly Hills' Cedars Sinai Medical Center wearing a dark wig.

She went into a private room and was seen by medical staff before leaving an hour later.

Britney checked into Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre in Antigua rehab clinic last Thursday (15.02.07) following a four-day drinking binge in New York.

But she stayed less than 24 hours before visiting her two sons, Sean Preston, one and five-month-old Jayden James in Malibu.

Last week, Britney's former personal assistant Felicia Culotta revealed family and friends want her to get help.

Felicia posted a letter on website Thatotherblog.com: "There's only so much you can do to help. I cannot convince her to love herself. I cannot save her from herself, nor can I commit her to treatment program against her wishes. I am throwing my hands up and realising I am helpless."

Less than 24 hours after shaving her head, Britney was seen wearing a short blonde wig and chain-smoking at West Hollywood's Mondrian hotel.

Her mother Lynne, who reportedly begged Britney to enter rehab over fears she might lose custody of her sons, has now rushed to Los Angeles to see her daughter.

Britney's locks are for sale on internet auction website eBay. Bidding had reached a staggering $1.1 million last night (18.02.07).

Patrick Swayze is Scarlett Johansson's ideal man

The blonde actress has had a crush on the actor since watching him swivel his hips in cult romantic film 'Dirty Dancing'.

When Scarlett was asked to name her dream date, she said: "Who would I most like to be romantically linked with? Probably Patrick Swayze. That would be my dream come true."

The 22-year-old, who was receiving Harvard's Hasty Pudding woman of the year award when she made the comments, was also asked if she would consider getting steamy with a younger man.

Scarlett joked, "Depends on how much champagne we have at dinner."

The actress was then given a pair of oversized glasses and asked to impersonate her 'Scoop' and 'Match Point' director Woody Allen.

One Harvard student joked, "You guys are pretty close, right? I heard he's almost been like an adopted father to you."

Allen is married to his ex-lover Mia Farrow's adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn.

As she received her award on Thursday, Scarlett joked, "This is the closest I'll ever get to a Harvard degree, for sure."

The prestigious honour is given by student drama group Hasty Pudding Theatricals to performers who have made a "lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment".

Ben Stiller is to be crowned Harvard Hasty Pudding man of the year on February 23.

Britney Spear's hair on sale for $1 million

Britney Spears' lopped-off locks can be yours for just $1 million on eBay - direct from the salon owner whose clippers the shorn star used during her weekend meltdown.

Esther Tognozzi of Esther's Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, Calif., is hawking the high-priced hairball - along with the pop princess' leftover Red Bull energy drink and her blue Bic lighter.

"We still don't know why Britney chose our shop. We'll probably never know," said the shop owner's husband, J.T. Tognozzi.

He said some proceeds from the sale would go to charity, possibly including the Florida-based Locks of Love, which supplies wigs to kids with cancer.

The Tognozzis say the decadent diva's thick pile of dark tresses and extensions - on sale until around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night - is the only authentic Spears hair on eBay, despite dozens of competing claims.

A quick search of "Britney Spears hair" turns up a slew of enterprising copycats - offering everything from a $3,000 lock of dark hair from a seller in Ohio to a $90,300 blond tuft - the wrong color.

Canadian Web developer Hazim Gaber asked for upwards of $1 million for hair he claims his employee snatched off the salon floor. He even promised to release a Web video as proof of authenticity.

But Tognozzi said the only people in the shop during the incident were his wife, her assistant, Spears and the singer's bodyguard. All the doors were locked and the shop was already closed for the night when Spears arrived, he said.

"It's pretty crazy all the frauds and stuff that's out there," Tognozzi said, adding that he would be surprised if anyone fell for them. "They're not even in our state."

Christina Aguilera puts Britney behind her

Christina Aguilera has put her feud with Britney Spears behind her.

The 'Ain't No Other Man' singer and Britney have been locked in an alleged feud for years since the pair both shot to fame.

Despite their history, Christina insists she has now grown up and moved on.

She said: "A lot of people compared us because we were the same age out there in the same market but that's all moving on now.

"What she does is nobody's business but her own. And the same goes for me."

The pair first fell out in 2003, after Christina reportedly got up close and personal with Britney's ex Justin Timberlake at the Brit Awards.

The two pop beauties them embarked on a bitter war of words, with Christina famously branding her rival's wedding to Kevin Federline "cheap" and claiming the star had "let herself go" while she was pregnant.

Britney, who refused to invite the blonde beauty to her and Kevin's nuptials, hit back by branding the pop beauty a "dark" person.

Britney Spears Gets Bald After She Bails One-Day Rehab

Britney Spears, who has been living recklessly since the breakup of her marriage with Kevin Federline in November checked herself into rehab earlier in the week, but checked herself out again after just 24 hours, according to People Magazine Friday.

But that's not the oddest Britney Spears news. Also, a bystander interviewed by L.A.'s KABC-TV, which filmed Spears heading into Body & Soul Tattoo on Ventura Boulevard, said that the pop star had shaved her head because "she didn't want people touching her anymore."

Celebrity photo Website X17 also captured before and after pics of Britney doing the job herself with an electric razor, because apparently she wouldn't let anybody touch her hair either.

Spears, 25, arrived at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre in Antigua "two or three days ago" but left after just one day and headed to Florida, an unnamed source told the magazine.

Her former personal assistant, Felicia Culotta, recently revealed that the former pop star and now wannabe mother of two was going off the tracks.

"There's just so much you can do to help a person," Culotta wrote in a letter to Hollywood.com. "I cannot save her from herself, nor can I commit her to any type of treatment programme against her wishes and will."

"By the time I met Britney she was burnt out. She knew she had been drinking and partying as a way to try to banish the bad stuff from her life. Far from the trashy drunk, I saw a very shy, sweet girl who was just desperately sad about what had happened with her marriage," the former pop singer’s ex-boyfriend, model Isaac Cohen, shared his impression on Britney in a tell-all interview with British newspaper, News of the World.

"It was far too soon for her to get involved in a relationship with anyone. It was clear she was not over her marriage. The first time she invited me to her home I saw her wedding dress hung on the wall in a glass box. As we made love that night it was like Kevin was in bed beside us. She had not even begun to move on with her life," he added.

"Other times, she got so low she didn't care what she looked like. She could not care less some days if she went out of the house without brushing her hair or checking to see if her outfit matched."

Justin Timberlake Pleads with Britney Spears, “Stop Drinking”

Justin Timberlake used his time on stage at the recent Brit Awards to plead with former girlfriend, Britney Spears, to sober up. While Timberlake refrained from publicly directing his comments to the 26-year-old “Toxic” singer, his message was clearly understood to be intended for Spears.

Timberlake beseeched his former Mouseketeer mate, “Stop drinking! You know who you are. I'm speaking to you. You are going to get sloppy.”

The Grammy Award winning Timberlake hasn’t been the only one to voice concern over the partying ways of Britney. Spears’ former assistant, Felicia Culotta, has apparently been preparing for the worst. In a letter published on a blogging site, Culotta wrote,

“I want you to know we (as in her family and nearest and dearest - all of whom are not on the payroll anymore) are doing everything in our power to get help for Britney and all in our power not to pad the bottom or move the bottom, so when she does indeed hit rock bottom, she'll stand up and walk away from this whole fiasco a new, confident, changed, career driven Britney like we all knew and loved.”

The letter continued,

"To see what is transpiring now, makes me feel a failure, defeated. I loved and believed in what I was a part of for the past 10 years and was so incredibly proud of Britney and all she'd become.”

Sienna Miller : it's healthy for young girls to party

Sienna Miller has defended herself - and fellow party-girls such as Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan - saying their nights out are no different to anyone else's.

She told OK magazine: "I think everyone's entitled to their own decisions."

"Girls are doing the same thing all over the world as what these girls are doing, but they're not being photographed while they're doing it."

"I think it's healthy for young girls to go out and have fun in their teenage years and early twenties. I'm not going to judge anyone."

KateWinslet slams skinny celebs for spawning 'generation of anorexics'

British actress Kate Winslet has slammed super-skinny celebs for spawning a "whole new generation of anorexics".

In an interview to Good Housekeeping magazine, the 'Titanic' star slammed women with size-zero waistlines, for she said that they were the reason why an increasing number of women were developing eating disorders, just so they could get that perfect figure.

"It seems to me that (Hollywood) is breeding a whole new generation of anorexics. I look at people and I want to say 'Look, it's alright you can eat something'" the Daily Mail quoted her, as telling the mag.

Winslet also admitted that she's aware of the fact that some women see her as her role model because she's proud of her 'normal shape', and insisted that she was not going to give up on food because she wants to be skinny.

"I think I have become something of a role model because I came out and said: 'Hey, I've got a normal shape'...It's important for me to stand by the fact that I eat real food and am not on a diet everyday," she said.

Winslet, who admits that she 'notices' when she's eating or drunk a bit too much, insisted that she didn't intentionally avoid foods as most weight-obsessed celebs.

"I just don't worry about my weight anymore. I notice it, if I've enjoyed a Christmas vacation and I have had too many glasses of champagne or too many canapes. But I don't avoid anything and I am not a fanatic," the five-time Oscar nominee insisted.

Britney Dumped By Isaac Cohen

In a long distance cell phone call, Britney Spears was dumped by model beau Isaac Cohen on Sunday. Britney has been on a trip to New York while Isaac elected to remain in LA. While apart, OK! Magazine has quoted sources that say Cohen has pulled the plug.

According to the report, Isaac broke the news to Britney during a phone call on Sunday evening while she was in New York and he was in LA.“They are no longer an item,” Brandi Lord, Isaac’s agent at L.A. Models, confirmed to OK!.

The entertainment magazine noted that the ex-couple met through Britney’s choreographer and began dating in mid-December. It was the singer’s first real relationship since she filed for divorce from Kevin Federline on November 7 last year.

The report claims that Britney has been in New York on business, while Isaac has been staying with friends and caring for Snow White, Britney’s teacup Chihuahua. According to a friend of Isaac, he has been “looking to get out of the relationship for a while.”

“It was a bit much for him,” the friend stated. “There was a lot of drama – it was too much of a whirlwind. It wasn’t one thing in particular. He likes her. They had a good time together. He was doing his best to help her out – but there is only so much one person can do.”

As far as Isaac’s future is concerned. He will be: “Hanging out with the guys and riding his dirt bike,” says the friend. “He’s focusing on his career – working and going out on castings.”

Jessica Simpson says Lachey's dating was painful

Jessica Simpson says she was stung when ex-husband Nick Lachey jumped back into dating after their high-profile breakup. "Oh, it hurt me," the 26-year-old singer-actress says in an interview in the March issue of Elle magazine, on newsstands Feb. 13. "Two or three weeks later? Yeah, I'd say it kind of hurt me."

Simpson and Lachey, 33, starred in the MTV reality show, "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica." She filed for divorce in December 2005, after three years of marriage.

She made that decision, she says, after watching the 2004 romance "The Notebook" on a plane ride home to Texas. "I just figured out the statement," she says of the movie, starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams as star-crossed lovers. "It was about that moment of desperation. I needed to breathe."

Does she still keep in touch with the singer, who is dating MTV's Vanessa Minnillo?

"Mm-hmmm," she tells the magazine. "He's so much a part of my life, how could I not be? Any guy that's going to be with me from this day forward has to understand that. You want to help me find a guy?"

(It appears that's not necessary. Simpson has been photographed recently with singer-songwriter John Mayer, and in her profile in Elle, the writer noted that he spotted e-mails from Mayer on her computer.)

She says she "is so happy right now," but declined to discuss her love life. "I want to tell you everything, but I have to sew my lips together," she says.

Asked whether she's in love, a grinning Simpson plays coy: "I didn't say yes."

Former Miss USA blasts the current queen

Not all is well in beauty-queen land.

Former Miss USA Susie Castillo is blasting reigning queen Tara Conner for tarnishing the image of the pageant.

Conner went into rehab after reports of heavy drinking and use of other controlled substances — and pageant head Donald Trump said the Kentucky native should get a “second chance.” But Castillo isn’t so forgiving.

“Whether you like it or not, you’re a role model. It’s not the job of Miss USA to be in rehab,” Castillo, a host of MTV’s “TRL,” tells the Feb/March issue of Complex magazine. “Other girls worked hard to give [the title] a positive name, and it’s going to be tarnished for a very long time now.”

Castillo also had harsh words that seemed aimed at Britney Spears, although she didn’t mention the “Toxic” singer by name.

“My mom always taught me to behave a certain way,” she told the mag. “So I’m not going to get out of a car and have no panties on. Why would you want to show the world your vagina? Hello?”
