Hollywood actress Salma Hayek has revealed that she can’t get enough of breastfeeding.

The 42-year-old star, who welcomed daughter Valentina in September 2007, says that she can’t stop herself from breastfeeding her daughter, reports China Daily.

"I'm like an alcoholic. It is like, I don't care if I cry, I don't care if I am fat, I am just going to do it for one more week, one more month, and then when I see how much good it is doing her and I can't stop,” she told Britain's Style magazine.

“It is a very powerful thing, you know," she added.

The Frida star admitted that breastfeeding is very painful.

"Let me tell you it is tough. You don't know what pain I am in after two hours, how difficult it was at first,” she added.

Moreover, she also dismissed claims that it helps mothers shed their post-pregnancy weight.

"And by the way, the myth that says you lose all this weight when you breastfeed? That is so not true! It''s like, please, will everyone stop telling me I look really well," she added.

Salma Hayek is still owed a soccer lesson by David Beckham.The ‘Frida’ actress paid £175,000 for a one-hour private lesson with the soccer star at a New York charity auction hosted by Madonna in February — outbidding formidable American Vogue editor Anna Wintour in the process — but has yet to claim her prize.

The pair have reportedly had difficulty securing a date for the coaching session due to David’s sporting commitments and Salma’s acting obligations.

Mexican actor Salma Hayek plans to celebrate her relationship with partner Francois-Henri Pinault with just a big party because she is not sure they will ever get married.

Hayek just gave birth to their first child and says she is very happy with her new family but is in no rush to get married, contactmusic.com reports.

She said, "I don't have a need for marriage. You want to grow old with someone, you want to have a partner and to have children - we have all those things.

"I grew up in a world where beauty was not only tall, it was white and blonde with blue eyes. People used to say that the short thing was a deformity.

"I was really upset about my height and then one day I said, 'Who decided that it's better to be tall? Am I less healthy? Am I less capable?'"

The Ugly Betty star, who is nine months pregnant, held a baby shower on Saturday August 25, at her home in the Hollywood Hills, even received doubles of several gifts off her registry list at LA's NoMi boutique.

According to US Weekly, she received Petunia Pickle Bottom Cake bags in both black and pink, as well as two Bloom high chairs and Graco Snug Ride car seats.

"She was very excited about everything. She was full of pregnancy glow and looked so happy," said Pia Lindstrom, who attended the party, alongside guests such as Salma's mother Diana.
