Angelina Jolie has revealed that if there is one secret agent whose shoes she would love to step into, it would be the suave British spy James Bond.

And if the actress' ambition of being the first female James Bond don't quite work out, she would be just as happy being the next Bond baddie.

"I'd love to be a Bond villain or the first female Bond," Entertainment Weekly quoted her as saying.

The Mr and Mrs Smith star was considered for the role of Bond's lady love Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale. However, plans fell apart after she found out that she was pregnant.

While Jolie went on to have beau Brad Pitt's baby, the part of Lynd went to French star Eva Green.

And though Eva Green's character was killed in Casino Royale, she revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Vesper's French-Algerian boyfriend mentioned in Casino Royale may be the villain in Bond 22 ¨C something that may see her return in a flashback/video scene. (ANI)

The tragicomic tale of a mother's survival, "Volver" swept to a triumphant victory at Spain's top film awards early on Monday, grabbing best movie, director and best actress for Oscar hope Penelope Cruz.

The movie, set in Spain's barren La Mancha region, won five prizes at the Goya awards ceremony in Madrid, beating off "Pan's Labyrinth", which was last week chosen ahead of "Volver" as a nominee for best foreign language film at next month's Oscars.

"Volver" tells the story of Raimunda, played by Cruz, a young and hard-working wife of an unemployed husband whose roving eye falls upon her teenage daughter, and of Raimunda's revenge.

At the same time, Raimunda's sister has begun seeing the ghost of their dead mother, visions that lead to the unravelling of a mystery that has strained family relations.

Holding back the tears as she gripped her award statue, Cruz thanked Spanish director Pedro Almodovar for one of the best experiences of her life. She will be hoping to make a similar speech in Hollywood on February 25, after becoming Spain's first-ever nominee in the Oscars' best actress category.

Almodovar's award was his second Goya for best director, but the maker of "All About My Mother" stayed away, blaming nerves. In 2005, he resigned his seat at the Spanish Film Academy over the way films were judged for the competition.

"Pan's Labyrinth", by Mexican director Guillermo del Toro, scooped seven awards at the glittering ceremony, including best script and best new actress for young star Ivana Baquero.

The film, billed as an "adult fairy tale", is the story of a girl who learns about good and evil from a fawn in the Spanish forest shortly after the country's civil war.

The best leading actor award went to Juan Diego, who plays a father disgruntled at the reappearance of his grown-up son in "Vete de Mi".

He beat Spanish-speaking New York actor Viggo Mortensen, best known as Aragorn in "Lord of the Rings", who starred as swashbuckling Spanish hero "Alariste". The film, the most-expensive ever made in Spain at $28 million, picked up three awards from 15 nominations.

British film and Oscar nominee "The Queen" won best European film beating last year's winning director, Woody Allen, whose film "Scoop" was nominated.

Baby Spice is about to pass on her moniker to someone more suitable.

Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton announced Friday she's expecting her first child with her boyfriend of more than eight years, British boy-band alum Jade Jones.

"We are so happy, it's unbelievable news!" Bunton and Jones said in a posting on her Website. "We're really looking forward to having a family together and to the rest of our lives."

"I guess I will be handing over the 'Baby' tag now to a deserving little owner," she said.

While a due date has yet to be announced, BBC News reported the stork delivery would likely come sometime this summer.

The baby news comes in the wake of a revelation by Bunton last year that she had been diagnosed with endometriosis, a condition that makes it difficult to conceive.

But just a few weeks ago, Bunton said things were looking up.

"I went back to my doctors recently, and they seemed to think it was easing off, which would make it hopeful for me to have children," she told the BBC.

Since her girl-powered '90s heyday as the pigtailed Baby Spice, the 31-year-old graduated into a successful solo career in the U.K. She issued a limited-edition CD of cover tunes, Life in Mono, last month, and her version of the Petula Clark hit "Downtown" cracked the Top Five in Britain. She also placed third in Strictly Come Dancing, the British inspiration for Dancing with the Stars.

The 27-year-old daddy-to-be, meanwhile, is a former member of the boy band Damage and has forged his own solo pop career.

The impending birth nearly completes the Spice Girls circle of procreation.

Bunton's former bandmates Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Brown (whose impending child may or may not be Eddie Murphy's) all have children already. Sporty Spice Melanie Chisholm is the only one sans offspring.

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are hoping that the number seven will bring them luck.

The “Desperate Housewives” star got engaged to the San Antonio Spurs guard in November after a two-year romance that had its ups and downs, and are planning to get married on July 7, 2007, because Parker thinks the date is lucky, according to Us Weekly.

“Tony is extremely superstitious and thinks 07-07-07 is the day most lucky to get married on,” a source told the mag.

Kevin Federline is reportedly urging estranged wife Britney Spears to go into rehab for her own sake as well as for their children.

A source close to Kevin has told Star magazine that Kevin is worried about her after seeing her constant partying since their split in November.

The source said: "Kevin has tried to convince Britney to check herself into rehab from every possible angle. First he tried threatening to take away the kids, then he tried pleading with her to take care of herself."

According to the source, Kevin has even teamed up with his former mother-in-law Lynne to get Britney to pull herself together: "He's afraid she's going to hurt herself."

"[Their sons] being raised by strangers. He told Britney to get help before it's too late."

For those who haven't yet, somehow, had their fill of Paris Hilton, there's a new Web site that has posted a seemingly endless offering of the celebutante's belongings.

The Web site, ParisExposed.com, launched Tuesday. It boasts that it has an array of Hilton photographs, home videos, diaries, love letters, recorded phone conversations and phone numbers of friends and celebrities, all left behind at a Los-Angeles based storage facility.

The items were sold to an unidentified buyer after a third party failed to make payments to the facility, and eventually wound up in the hands of a broker aiming to sell them, Hilton's spokesman, Elliot Mintz, told The Associated Press Tuesday.

Hilton's first big-time exposure came through a sex tape that also took a circuitous route to the public, first appearing in bootleg form in 2003 and then put up for sale in 2004.

All the new goods "were acquired by me through a broker," said Bardia Persa, who created ParisExposed.com. He noted that he obtained the Paris possessions in September.

Users must pay a monthly fee of $39.97 to gain access to the site, which promises footage of the 25-year-old heiress in a "sexy bubble bath" video. It also says it has various shots of Hilton in "racy situations," and footage of her drinking with friends and using illegal substances.

"We certainly are going to explore all of our legal options about this matter," Mintz told the AP.

Britney Spears' vagina heads the list of five celebrity vaginas nominated for a Golden Raspberry award in the Razzie's newest category: Worst Vertical Smile. Razzie founder, Jon Williams, told The Celebrity Dirt, an adult celebrity website, that the "recent rash of celebrity beaver shots" inspired the creation of this new category.

"The picture of Britney Spears' puffy emerging from the back of Paris Hilton's limousine was the shot seen round the world," said Mr. Williams. "Never has so little been viewed so often by so many."

The worst vertical smile award is a departure for the Razzies, which are presented to honor outstanding cinematic achievement.

"Since many of our emerging female actresses snatch more attention for getting diddled in club bathrooms, puking in public, or going in and out of rehab," said Mr. Williams, "we decided to meet them where they live, as it were, by recognizing their achievements for airing it out in public."

In addition to Ms. Spears, who was nominated for "unsightly stubble, dryness, and a hideous-looking C-section scar," other contenders in the worst vertical smile category are: Paris Hilton, visible Tampon string; Lindsay Lohan, large, multicolored wart; Jessica Simpson, unsightly ingrown hairs; and Tara Reid, severe bruises.

When Ms. Spears was informed that her vagina had been nominated for a Razzie award, she was thrilled.

"Mah cootchie's been burnin' like a bitch for the last day an' a half," said Ms. Spears. "Ah told mah momma somebody muss be talkin' about it."

Razzie award winners will be announced February 24, the day before the Academy Awards are presented.

In other celebrity news, Kirstie Alley won a 2007 Eclipse Award from the Thorougbred Racing Association in the best older mare category.

'Monster' star Charlize Theron has been named the actress with the best legs in Hollywood in a poll conducted by a US magazine.

According to In Touch magazine, the credit for conferring this honour to the actress goes to her ballerina background that helped shape her long legs.

Theron beat Gisele Bundchen and Jennifer Anniston to claim the top spot in the competition, reports Contactmusic.

The top five positions on the list of best-legged celebrities were wrapped up by Vanessa Minnillo, the MTV presenter who is dating Nick Lachey, and wrestler-turned TV dancer, Stacy Keibler.

Britney Spears has split from Isaac Cohen after just three weeks, according to reports.

The singer told the news to photographers who spotted her at a coffee shop in Santa Monica, California on Thursday.

"Me and Isaac are not together, by the way," Spears revealed as she returned to her car. Asked to clarify if this meant that the relationship was over, she replied: "Yes."

Spears and Cohen were first spotted together at the beginning of this year. Britney filed for divorce from husband Kevin Federline in November.

Adult film star Jenna Jameson is in talks to bring her autobiography to the big screen and the porn queen has her sights on Scarlett Johansson for the lead role.

Jameson’s 2004 autobiography, How to Make Love like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale, detailed her storied and wildly successful career in the adult film industry, from her beginnings in 1993, through the ending of her second marriage in 2006.

“I'm in talks to make my book into a movie. It looks like we're going to be selling it to a big movie company and go into production next year,” the affable professional pelvis told FHM magazine. “We're looking, hopefully, at Scarlett Johansson. She's my choice. I think she's beautiful.”

Britney Spears won’t be going to a fabulous European ball because her former best friend Paris Hilton will be there.

The partying heiress is attending the super-elegant Vienna Opera Ball — causing a stir in Austria because it’s the highlight of the country’s social season — but the “Toxic” singer was removed from the invite list because she and Hilton had a falling out.

The partying heiress is the guest of wealthy industrialist Richard Lugner and his socialite wife Christina who in the past have invited high profile celebs in the hopes of modernizing the very traditional dance. Originally, Hilton was going with Spears. There are rumors that Hilton is receiving $1 million for attending.

“She is a very good advertisement for the Opera Ball,” Richard Lugner explained. Regarding why Spears wouldn’t be there as well, Christina offered: “They unfortunately do not get along anymore.”

Paris Hilton has won the latest round in the bitch-off between her and Britney Spears, this time in the Super Bowl of commercials – literally.

Whereas Britney, as Gatecrasher reports, was given the full stiff-arm when she wanted to appear in the NFL Network's big-name, big-bucks Super Bowl ad, Paris is already "on board" to do the spot, along with Martha Stewart, L.L. "She's too much of a trainwreck," says an "insider" of Britney, and no doubt Britney's penchant for very public privates viewings late last year made league and network officials nervous.

Four months after Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s second son was born, celeb watchers are wondering why no pics of the tyke have been released.

“It’s the question we’ve all been asking,” one paparazzo who asked not to be named told The Scoop. “There was some really dark footage that was supposed to be of him, but it was horrible and it doesn’t really count. Now people are speculating that [Spears] is keeping him from the public because she’s hoping to sell exclusive pictures of him, and now, because no one has seen him, the price has gone up.”

“It’s been pretty well confirmed that the profit from the pictures of the first child [Sean Preston] went to Kevin,” says Brandy Navarre, owner of x17OnLine, the celebrity blog owned by a photo agency.

This is a huge story and some of us have been focused on getting pictures of her partying or with her new boyfriend, but to get a picture of [Jayden James] is the goal we should be focused on.”

Jenny Shimizu has kept her one-time lesbian affair with Angelina Jolie in the press long after it ended with some fantastic claims. The former CK One model went strong at Jolie mate Brad Pitt claiming that there was no way that Angelina would ever remain faithful to him because of her tendencies to favor women in bed.Now there is a theory that the catfight of sorts between Angelina and Maddona is all over a lesbian triangle.

The Herald Sun is reporting that the catfight has been given an added dimension by a claim that the lesbian model and actor is writing a no-holds-barred book in which she will describe in graphic detail how she was a lover of both women. Shimizu, 39, will allege that Madonna flew her around the world for secret liaisons before she married film director Guy Ritchie. Their affair, she says, coincided with an equally passionate relationship with Jolie.

The Daily Mail reports that in the kiss-and-tell memoir, in which she reveals that Madonna used her as a 'sex slave.' "I was her secret 'booty call' available any time of the day or night for secret sex sessions," the model said last year.

The spat between Madonna and Angelina is over comments made by Jolie where she seemed to be critical of the 'Material Girl' for her third world adoption of a Malawi boy. Jolie told a French magazine: "(Malawi) is a country where there is no legal framework for adoption. Personally, I prefer to stay on the right side of the law."

Jolie would later say the quote was taken out of context and both have publicly denied any hard feelings, but reports continue to say that 'insiders' are not convinced.

Britney Spears and Isaac Cohen spent the night together in the Hugh Hefner suite of a Las Vegas hotel on Saturday night (13.01.07), it has been reported.

The pair stayed in the Fantasy Tower wing of The Palms hotel, in the $40,000-a-night, two-storey Hugh Hefner Sky Villa, which has an 8ft rotating bed, a Jacuzzi, full bar and a glass elevator.

A source said: "They seem very happy together."

Britney and model-and-actor Isaac, both 25, were seen dancing and smoking cigarettes at gay nightclub 8 1/2 for about an hour before returning to their luxury suite.

Staff at The Palms refused to comment.

What Jolie forgot to mention was that the agency she used to adopt Cambodian son Maddox was later found to be guilty of fraud. Now procedures have been tightened up, and it is almost impossible to adopt from Cambodia.

"Angelina is not a hero in the adoption community," an international adoption advocate, told the Post. Beams said parents and other adoption agents are disappointed Jolie "does nothing, or at least very little, to keep international adoption open and legal for American families and children."

"She [Jolie] adopted Maddox under a questionable agency, where the directors went to prison." Beams added, "It would be nice to see her speak out on issues and policies surrounding international adoption."

David Ptasnik, director of Americans Adopting Orphans, admits he was uncomfortable with some practices of Jolie's agency, but said that at the time, "it was the largest agency in the world. Angelina Jolie wouldn't know that she was entering into a questionable adoption."

Angelina Jolie wants to have 10 children. The Tomb Raider actress is desperate to have a large family with her partner Brad Pitt - who she already has three children with - and plans to extend her brood by adopting children from various countries.

She told Elle magazine: "Every country I go to, you'll hear that I'm adopting! India is a country we could legally adopt from, but I don't think it will be the next one.

"In the future, it is a possibility and we have had that discussion.

"We definitely want a very big family. It might seem crazy to build it so quickly. But if we're going to have 10 kids, we'd like to raise them while we're young.

"Maddox and I talk about him being adopted, and he's got opinions about his brothers and sisters to come."

The actress' adopted Cambodian son Maddox has even thought of a name for his next sibling, which Angelina is refusing to divulge.

She added: "The other night I said to Brad, 'If this become a reality, are we really thinking of that name?' He said, 'Yes, I think we have to!'"

Brad has previously joked that he wants to have enough children to start his own soccer team.

He said: "I have three kids now and next year I'll have six then nine. We're looking for a soccer team. I want to compete in the next World Cup."

Pop star Britney Spears has wasted no time jumping back into the dating scene since separating from husband Kevin Federline and has been spotted with a new mystery man. The singer was photographed over the weekend enjoying herself on a boat with a hunky tattooed companion.

The party carried on into Monday, where the pop star was spotted at the W Hotel in Westwood, California where she was seen kissing a dark haired man. According to a source, "She entered in a short black and white dress with a long black wig. Britney was making out with a dark haired, bearded man outside in a cabana."

After their very public display of affection, the couple then reportedly went to the reception desk where they checked into a room in the hotel.

Angelina Jolie has criticised pop Madonna for adopting Malawian child David Banda in an illegal manner.

Actress Jolie, who has two adopted children of her own, thinks Madonna found a child to adopt in the wrong way.

"Madonna knew the situation in Malawi, where he was born. It's a country where there is no real legal framework for adoption," Angelina Jolie said in an interview with French magazine Gala.

"Personally, I prefer to stay on the right side of the law. I would never take a child away from a place where adoption is illegal."

However, Angelina Jolie believes Madonna's intentions were good and is amazed at the media reaction to her adoption.

"I have been horrified by the attacks she's been subjected to. All that should count is the happiness of her little David," Jolie said.

Madonna brought 1-year-old David to the UK from his home country of Malawi in October of last year. He will stay with Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie for 18 months before Malawian officials decide whether or not they are legally able to adopt the child.

Britney Spears has taken to her official website to address fans about their fears for her future and her recent behaviour.

She revealed that she definitely release an album via Jive before the and of 2007 and that she was saddened by the recent closure of her fansite worldofbritney.com.

She wrote: “It has been a while since I've addressed you personally here on my official website. The last couple of years have been quite a ride for me, the media has criticized my every move and printed a skewed perception of who I really am as a human being.

“Behind every decision I have made in my public life there always seems to be an apparent contradiction. I have come to terms with that which is why I usually don't pay much attention to it.

“The last couple of years have been very enlightening for me and now that I've had the time to be ‘me,’ I've been able to sit down and think about where I want to go with myself as an entertainer with absolutely no strings attached.

I am now more mature and feel like I am finally ‘free’. I've been working so hard on this new album and I can't wait for you all to hear it and to go on tour again! I would like to exclusively tell you that I am working hard to release the new album sometime later this year, but the date is of course not certain yet.

“I look forward to coming back this year bigger and better than ever, and to also reaching out to my fans on a more personal level. Two nightclubs known as Club Paris will no longer be associated with their namesake Paris Hilton, according to the club's owner.

Fred Khalilian said he "fired" the hotel heiress because she has continuously failed to attend scheduled appearances at the location in downtown Orlando. The troubles started two years ago when Hilton showed up six hours late for the grand opening, Khalilian said.

Khalilian does not want to change the name of the Orlando club, or one opened in Jacksonville last year, because he said the name is so well known. Instead of Club Paris representing Hilton, it will stand for the city, Khalilian said.

He plans to hold a competition to find the new face of his clubs.

Hilton's spokesman Elliot Mintz said that neither he nor Hilton have been contacted by Khalilian.

"I'm certainly disappointed to learn of Fred's unfortunate comments." Mintz said. "We shall address his statements at the appropriate time."

Britney Spears is at risk of being dropped by her record label "any day now".

The Toxic singer - who checked into a spa after collapsing from "exhaustion" at her New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas' PURE nightclub - is said to be damaging her relationship with Jive records with her wild partying.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Like the rest of us, Jive is done with Britney Spears. They are going to drop the album, and her, any day now."

Britney's manager Larry Rudolf said: "Britney knows her recent behaviour has been unacceptable but she is going through a rocky period."

Rudolf insists the 25-year-old mother-of-two will soon be revamping her image and is currently recording her new album.

As well as damaging her reputation through wild partying and being pictured on four occasions not wearing any underwear, Britney reportedly produced below-par tracks during her recent recording sessions at Jive's New York studios.

However, a spokesman for the label has denied they are on the verge of dropping her, saying: "Jive's relationship with Britney is fine. She continues to be one of our biggest worldwide artists and we remain 1000 per cent committed to her career."

Movie-goers last year may not have noticed the dramas "Babel" and "Little Children," but the films got plenty of attention at the Palm Springs International Film Festival 2007 Gala Awards.Both drew multiple honors at Saturday night's festivities in this desert resort city 100 miles east of Los Angeles.

"Babel," which starredBrad Pitt,Cate Blanchett, Adriana Barraza and Rinko Kikuchi, took the Ensemble Performance Award. Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu took home the director's award for the film, which has struggled at the box office.

Pitt, 43, told Associated Press Television News: "I love the undercurrent of this film, and that is the inability, sometimes, to understand where the other side is coming from."

Inarritu, Barraza, Kikuchi and Pitt are nominated for
Golden Globe Awards, to be handed out Jan. 15, and all said they would attend.

Blanchett accepted the festival's Career Achievement Award. She apologized for making so many movies released in 2006, including "Babel," "Notes on a Scandal" and "The Good German."

ANGELINA JOLIE has been turned into the Virgin Mary in a controversial new painting by artist KATE KRETZ. The actress and humanitarian is depicted as the mother of JESUS CHRIST, while her adopted kids MADDOX and ZAHARA and biological baby SHILOH feature as angels in the piece, titled BLESSED ART THOU - a line taken from the Catholic prayer HAIL MARY.

The painting, which will be unveiled at the Art Miami Fair on Friday (05JAN06), addresses "the cycle of celebrity worship" and depicts Jolie in a flowing gown hovering in the clouds above a dimly-lit shopping store, populated by shoppers.

Kretz, who spent five months creating the painting, says, "Our culture is deifying celebrities, but, in THE BIBLE, it is the meek who are blessed, so the title presents a question for the viewer to ponder. "Angelina Jolie was chosen as the subject because of her unavoidable presence in the media, the world-wide anticipation of her child, her unattainable beauty and the good that she is doing in the world through her example, which adds another layer to the already complicated questions surrounding her status."

Kretz, a former professor, reveals her virgin (Jolie) and Zahara figures are loosely based on a painting by SIR ANTHONY VAN DYCK, while Maddox's pose is borrowed from a painting by Italian High Renaissance artist RAPHAEL.

"I'm honored. I think it's going to be great," Lopez told The Associated Press from Los Angeles prior to the announcement by Country Music Television Inc.'s officials in Nashville, Tenn. The pageant will air Jan. 29 from the Aladdin Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

Having proved he can dance on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," the 33-year-old actor ("Saved by the Bell") said he didn't plan to sing the pageant's "There She Is, Miss America" theme made famous by longtime Miss America host Bert Parks.

A spokesman for Kate Moss has rubbished all reports Moss and addict Pete Doherty tied a legal knot during a candlelit Buddhist ceremony in Thailand on New Year's Day.

"There has not been any kind of marriage ceremony in Thailand. She is on holiday," Higgins said.

Paris is herself. She has thrown out the rule book. She doesn't conform to stereotypical norms and doesn't pretend she wants to make the world a better place or that she has got anything profound to tell us.

Paris teaches us most about the fallacy associated with the search for status and the importance of self-belief.

People want status. Many of us are slaves to it. This drives many of us to unremittingly pursue goals, mainly materialistic, that we think will impress others.

Paradoxically, the best way to obtain acceptance is not by conforming and aspiring to achieve what others want most.

People respect most those who have the courage and commitment to pursue their own passions and goals, even (and in fact especially) if this means bucking contemporary social and economic norms.

It's not so much Paris' wealth that people admire but her courage in not confirming to the celebrity prototype.

The other thing that Paris teaches us is self belief. Studies show that sometimes belief in a thing can make it happen.

People who think they are attractive and desirable and project themselves in that manner are actually more appealing.

So instead of moping around whingeing about your flaws, be like Paris.

Angelina Jolie insists the key to a successful relationship is honesty.
